Weddings at the Mansion

Whether you're considering an intimate sit down dinner or an outside celebration with 200 of your closest family and friends, the Asa Waters Mansion offers outstanding intimacy and elegance.  We offer a variety of options for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.



Ceremony: Declare your intentions to one another on the lovely grounds of the estate—perhaps on our 19th century style bandstand, under our stately trees, or on our gracious columned portico. Or consider having your service inside the Mansion surrounded by grandeur.

Cocktails: Enjoy a lovely day outdoors on the lawn, porches, or bandstand, or step inside to enjoy the richness of the estate’s period architecture and decor.

Reception: Keep your celebration intimate with a formal sit down dinner or buffet for up to 50 guests inside the Mansion. For guest lists over 50, your event would be hosted under our lovely garden tent.

Whichever option you select, having your wedding at the Asa Waters Mansion ensures a beautiful, elegant occasion like no other! The Mansion offers the following for all weddings:

  • Choose your catering/party planning team from our selection of licensed catering partners

  • Variety of indoor and outdoor setup options

  • Round dining tables and chairs included in rental fee

  • Various other tables available which may be used for your wedding cake, place cards, guest book, or gift table

  • Chivari ballroom chairs available for additional rental fee

  • Dressing room for Bridal Party

Showers from Bridal to Baby!

The Asa Waters Mansion is the perfect place to celebrate the happy couple's upcoming nuptials or for welcoming baby. Our airy, sunlit rooms provide a cheerful atmosphere in which to celebrate life's most joyful occasions, and it has become a bit of an AWM tradition for shower guests to pile their presents on our grand spiral staircase! Whether you're planning a brunch buffet where the mimosas flow or an elegant afternoon tea, the Asa Waters Mansion and our amazing roster of partnered catering firms will work to make your event a day you and your guests will treasure!

Birthdays, Graduations, Anniversaries

At the Asa Waters Mansion, it is always a party! Sweet 16s, graduation parties, anniversary dinners, retirement parties... if you can celebrate it, we can host it! The Asa Waters Mansion staff will work with you every step of the way, and we will also see to it that you are paired with the catering firm from our list of partners that best suits your needs. Whether you are looking to host an intimate sit-down dinner  or a big tented affair on the Mansion grounds, the Asa Waters Mansion will help you to realize your vision.

Conferences & Office Parties

The Asa Waters Mansion will also make your corporate event stand out from the pack! This stately nineteenth-century home makes for an elegant and inviting atmosphere for staff holiday parties and team-building brunches and luncheons. It is also a great venue for more formal corporate events like conferences, workshops, and black-tie fundraisers. In addition to our usual dining amenities, we can provide an HD digital projector, standard pull-down screen, and microphones for presentations. Clients also have their choice of room configuration: auditorium-style rowed seating, tables and chairs, or a combination.

Approved Caterers

We have an Approved Vendor List to insure that vendors who work in the building and grounds understand the care that must be used when working on our historic property. Occasionally, the Mansion Director may approve an outside caterer, which may offer something that caterers on our Approved Vendor List do not. If approval is granted, a fee will be applied. Please understand that it is a rarity to approve an outside vendor and prior approval must be given before entering into any contracts.
